The Jusidman Forest surrounding the new residential development of Carmit in the northern Negev will expand over a thousand dunams. It is being planted thanks to a donation from the Jusidman Family of Mexico. The forest was dedicated on March 23rd at a ceremony in Carmit, which was attended by the Jusidman family and their friends from Israel and abroad, KKL-JNF representatives, members of the OR Movement, and new Carmit residents.
