Every year in August, the Chile-Israel Cultural Institute, the Chilean Embassy and KKL-JNF hold a birthday celebration for the national hero of the liberation of Chile, Cap. Gen. Bernardo O’Higgins, in KKL-JNF Chilean Forest.
On July 7, 2015, KKL-JNF and Mr. Touvia Goldstein, the Chairman of the Israel-Chile Cultural Institute, hosted a reception in Eshtaol Forest for a group of teachers from the Dr. Chaim Weizmann Hebrew School in Viña del Mar.
