KKL-JNF Spain recently inaugurated a forest in Horta de Sant Joan, in memory of the five firefighters who perished there whilst trying to extinguish a big wildfire that occurred there. This project was undertaken by KKL-JNF Spain as a symbol of the excellent relations and understanding between the Catalans and KKL-JNF. A similar forest of 5000 trees is to be dedicated in Israel next year.
